Project Updates

On April 28, 2022 the Town Planning Board/Project Steering Committee (SC) for the Comprehensive Plan Update voted to recommend the Draft Plan be considered for adoption by the Dryden Town Board….

The Steering Committee has released a Public Review Draft of the Comprehensive Plan Update. Comments on the draft plan can be submitted through the project website through the comment form here; comments will be accepted through March 31, 2022. A public hearing will be held on Thursday March 24th at Town Hall (check back for details).

This evening, February 10th at 6pm the Steering Committee will host a Virtual Session to solicit feedback on the draft goals and strategies. The Virtual Public Workshop will provide community members with the opportunity to review draft goals and strategies and provide their thoughts, reactions, and ideas on how to refine those goals and strategies for the future of the Town of Dryden community.

On February 10th at 6pm the Steering Committee will host a Virtual Session to solicit feedback on the draft goals and strategies. The Virtual Public Workshop will provide community members with the opportunity to review draft goals and strategies and provide their thoughts, reactions, and ideas on how to refine those goals and strategies for the future of the Town of Dryden community.

The members of the Dryden 2045 Steering Committee and consultant team are deeply upset by the events that took place during the Virtual Public Workshop on January 27th and apologize that the workshop was cut short because of those events. To gather public input, a community survey was circulated within the Town beginning in late July 2020, survey responses were accepted through August 31, 2020. The Town received well over 700 survey responses. The preliminary survey results have been made available through the project website….
